How to find us

By car, the transfer to Anzere is under 2 hours from Geneva Airport. Various car hire options are available from Geneva airport.

From Geneva, take the Lausanne road. Follow all road signs towards Simplon. En route, pass Lausanne, Montreux and Martigny. On reaching Sion, take the exit SION EST (the 2nd Sion exit when travelling from Geneva - immediately at the end of the tunnel).

On leaving the motorway slipway, turn left at the junction, and follow the signs to Anzere/Ayent. Take the route Champlan, Grimisuat and then St. Romain (Ayent).

On arriving in Anzere, follow the road past the tennis courts (on the right), past the Hotel de la Poste (on the left), then immediately after the Church (on the left) turn left down onto the access road. Follow this road straight down for about 40m past the church and some other chalet buildings. Chalet Alpage is at the end of the access road.

(Please park at the car port so as not to block garage entrances, etc)

It is also easy to take the regular train service directly from the airport to Sion and a short taxi ride will deliver you to the chalet. The train service runs hourly and generally there is no requirement to pre-book. For further information:

Once in the resort, a free ski bus service runs with Swiss efficiency from the chalet to the lift station every 15 minutes.

Anzere Map

Anzere is a very friendly village with supermarket, shops, restaurants, bars and several ski hire shops. In winter there is also a small ice rink in the village square. The village is family orientated and regular children’s activities are organised through the local tourist office. At the end of 2011, the brand new ‘Spa and Wellness Centre’ was opened, including an indoor-outdoor swimming pool, saunas, hammams, gym with various spa treatments on offer.

This has proved very popular and the residents of the village are proud that this new facility is heated entirely by renewable energy, using wood chip from the surrounding forests. A recent addition to Anzere slopes this season is the new Les Grillesses chair lift, which provides comfortable access to more extensive pistes.
